New Course coming for 2025
In 2024 Mat's 'Properly Bitter Lemon' liqueur was awarded the highest rating for any lemon liqueur in the world by the international Wines and Spirits Competition. Mat has also won Great Taste awards for his Blackberry and Aniseed liqueurs. Mat will share the secrets to making brilliant flavoured liqueurs, Eae de Vie and spirits. Of course we will taste, we'll talk about flavour balancing and cocktail making. We will use a still and explore distillation, and cover the legalities for the UK. The course will be based from our new distillery near Dorchester, Dorset. You will be given a classic moonshine jar with the ingredients (excluding alcohol) to make your own infused Gin in as a tasty memento of your day. The course will start at 11 with a talk over pastries and snacks with coffee and tea. You will have a recipe card for some cocktails and drink recipes to take home with you. We're a 10 minute taxi ride from Dorchester train stations and town centre. |
